Amanda McDonald

Amanda was raised in Butte, MT, where her passion for helping people started. Following her first year of college at Montana Tech, she enlisted in the US Army. Over the course of her 6 years of active duty service, she was stationed in Italy, Fort Lewis, and traveled many parts of Europe as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Specialist. Amanda returned back to her Montana roots and moved to Kalispell in 2012. In 2016 she graduated from the Flathead Valley Community College Physical Therapist Assistant program with her Associate of Applied Science degrees.

Fitness, health, wellness, and helping people has always been a passion for Amanda and started throughout her youth athletics, playing hockey in Minnesota and Canada. In 2014, she received her Level 1 USA hockey coaching certificate, where she coached youth hockey and played in the adult hockey league. She holds a certification as a Orthopedic Specialist through the Net Gen Institute of Physical Therapy, is a Level 1 CrossFit trainer with a Movement & Mobility Certification and is also a Level 1 USA Weightlifting coach.

When she’s not in the clinic, Amanda can be found training at CrossFit Flathead, competing in national Olympic weightlifting competitions and on the water, camping, or traveling.
